Requirements
- $0 monthly account-keeping fee and no minimum opening balance under the current product pages and TMDs. Service charges can apply, including $7.50 staff-assisted withdrawals and a $20 annual dormancy charge after two years without transactions.
- Interest calculated daily. No mandatory linked transaction account is established for these savings families, optional linked card accounts have their own terms.
- Increase the balance by at least $250 in each calendar month, excluding interest credited that month, comparing the opening balance at the start of the month with the closing month-end balance. Withdrawals are allowed but can prevent meeting that growth test. No separate deposit-count or purchase requirement.
- Bonus applies only to the first $100,000 portion, all excess earns the standard base only. The current TMD, product page and specific terms establish this cap, omitted by the flat CDR bonus. Missing the growth condition earns the standard base on all balances.
- The separately advertised 0.40 percentage-point promotional uplift ended on 30 September 2026 in the published offer terms. It is excluded from current ongoing and introductory pricing despite the stale 5.00% headline. Historical variable rate numbers in those terms are not substituted for current source/page rates.
- Interest credited monthly on the last day. Online/app access, BPAY and branch services, no savings debit card.
- Qualification timing: Requirements are assessed in the current month. Check the settlement deadlines and exclusions in the requirements.

How to apply

- Personal Gateway Bank membership and identity checks, with a permanent Australian residential address and phone number under the current TMD. The copied CDR pension-recipient flag is not a mandatory restriction: the TMD describes pension recipients as an optional suitable cohort.
- Adult product TMDs say over the age of 18. An exact completed-age minimum is not inferred from that wording, check the bank’s eligibility requirements.
