Requirements

  • No entry, exit or account-keeping fee under the current Standard Savings Accounts information statement. Other service charges can apply. No introductory interest offer is established.
  • Deposit at least $10 in total before end-of-day transaction processing starts on the last business day of the month, and make no withdrawals during that calendar month. No bonus interest is paid in the month the account is opened. Otherwise only the base rate applies. No separate monthly balance-growth or purchase test.
  • Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly. The current rate sheet establishes interest from $0.01 with no bonus balance cap. The page’s informal over-$10 wording does not add a minimum balance absent from the governing information statement, rate sheet and TMD.
  • Qualification timing: Requirements are assessed in the current month. Check the settlement deadlines and exclusions in the requirements.

Fees

  • Monthly account fee: $0

Showing reviewed fees only, other charges may apply

How to apply

Check these eligibility requirements before applying with Police CU.

  • Personal Police Credit Union membership and identity checks are required. Membership is open to everyone, not limited to police employees. Becoming a member requires a one-off $10 share payment, separate from monthly account fees. Non-permanent residents and people with overseas tax residency should contact the provider about application requirements.
  • Children under 18, ages 0–17 inclusive. At age 18, transition to an adult account. Parent or guardian and junior membership arrangements follow provider terms. The CDR MAX_AGE 18 is a conversion boundary, not inclusive eligibility.
