Bonus requirements
For Smart Saver, meet these requirements to earn the ongoing total rate shown above.
- In the previous calendar month, deposit at least $1,000 electronically from an eligible external Australian account into the linked Everyday account, and complete at least five settled eligible transactions on it.
- Eligible transactions include direct debits, BPAY, ATM withdrawals and Visa Debit purchases. Five card purchases are not required. Bank transfers do not count, cash, cheque and international deposits do not qualify.
- The linked Everyday account must have the same sole or joint holders. No savings growth or no-withdrawal condition. The initial contractual qualifying-period waiver does not create a higher introductory rate.
Qualification timing: Activity in the previous month determines eligibility for the current month. Check the settlement deadlines and exclusions in the requirements.
