Rate requirements
For Kids Saver Account.
- No monthly or annual account-keeping fee, other service and event charges may apply. No monthly deposit, growth, purchase or withdrawal-count interest qualification. No introductory pricing is established.
- Interest calculated daily and paid quarterly, correcting the source monthly payment frequency. The optional $50 opening deposit relates to a book promotion, not a universal minimum deposit. The first $10,000 earns the Kids Saver rate, excess portions earn the lower rates specified by the CDR tiers and the Multi-Access fallback in the conditions. The comparison is weighted across the selected balance, not the Kids Saver rate on the whole amount. Provider documents also call $10,000 a maximum account balance, conflicting with the explicit excess-interest provisions. This calculation describes interest if the balance is held, confirm acceptance of deposits above $10,000 with the provider. The TMD older under-16 wording is superseded by the current product page and conditions explicitly including 16-year-olds.
