Rate requirements
For Christmas Club Account.
- Interest is calculated on the minimum monthly balance and credited at month end.
- No monthly service fee. Separate non-standard service, dishonour or coin-handling charges may apply. No introductory offer is established. Reviewed pricing starts at $1.
- The rate applies to the whole minimum monthly balance, with the higher band starting at $1,000. The current rate sheet and account summary use minimum monthly balance, the website daily-calculation wording conflicts with those documents. Confirm the method with Coastline if daily balance changes matter.
- Normal access is from 1 November through 31 January. Outside that period the account is deposit-only, with a $10 charge for any permitted withdrawal. This is a seasonal access restriction, not a monthly withdrawal-count test or rolling notice period.
- No debit-card access. Internet banking and app use outside the access period is for viewing and deposits. The account summary lists a $1 opening deposit while the website says no minimum balance, confirm the opening arrangement separately.
