Rate requirements
For Kids Saver.
- No monthly account-keeping fee. Separate transaction, service or out-of-season access fees may apply. No recurring monthly deposit, balance-growth, purchase or withdrawal-count interest qualification, and no introductory offer.
- Reviewed pricing uses the matching current main product rate tables, central rate page and CDR rates. FAQ copy still quotes older rates and is not used for arithmetic, provider source changes require review.
- The first $2,000 earns the higher rate, with the lower rate on the excess. Rates at larger comparison balances are weighted across both portions, the higher rate is not applied to the whole balance.
- Clause 4.8 restricts Kids Saver withdrawals to the branch. Some FAQ copy mentions limited card access, this is not treated as a guaranteed card facility. Confirm access arrangements with the bank.

Eligibility
- Cairns Bank membership and identity checks apply. Account opening is in branch. Adult membership requires a refundable $1 share subscription, members under 18 do not need to buy shares. The share is separate from monthly fees.
- Members under 18 only, with a parent or guardian involved in opening the account. One Kids Saver per member. Source MAX_AGE 18 is not treated as inclusive eligibility.
